Have you heard about the 0180? ZT Knives Part 1

One thing about ZT Knives,is that they do not mess around with knives.  Check out their model 0180!  You will not be disappointed.

Zero Tolerance is an American arm of the Kai-USA Ltd corporation of Japan. They are made in Oregon, using only the high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Initially, Zero Tolerance (ZT) company marketed their knives only to specific military or law enforcement personnel.   ZT wanted to know if their knives could hold up to the real world.  As word grew about the quality of the knives, so too did the product line. Today they offer over 40 different styles of knives.

Today Zero Tolerance Knives produces several quality knives, so with that said you will get lost on their website so stay focus.  Okay, so being a Military & Law Enforcement Tactical Knife Fighting Instructor, I have found that when I first looked at the knife I had my reservations about it.  That’s when I decided to take it for a test run.

First the Pros:

  • They give you a Lifetime Warranty
  • The Knife is of High quality materials
  • It is really heavy duty
  • I like the full length tang

Now the Cons:

  • The only con I found with the 0180 is the price.  But with that being said, you get what you pay for!

So with that being said, if you want a good knife then okay.  But, if you want a great knife then???  Get what I am saying.  Let’s hear what ZT has to say about the amazing 0180:

Based on Rick Hinderer’s Fieldtac knife, the new Zero Tolerance 0180 is a smaller and lighter fixed-blade knife, yet it’s built to handle tough duty.

The blade is made of Vanadis 4 Extra powder metallurgical cold work steel. This steel is perfectly designed for hard use and offers good wear resistance. Resistance to chipping and cracking makes it an excellent steel for hard-use applications like the 0180. It is also very suitable for coating—which ZT does with tungsten DLC non-reflective coating.

The 0180’s handle scales are G-10 for durability as well as reduced weight. The handle locks right into the hand and the forefinger contour provides grip security. Heavy jimping on the spine further enhances grip.

The 0180 comes with a convenient belt sheath.

WARNING: This sheath is intended for tip-down carry only. For safety, ensure knife handle strap is fully and securely snapped closed.
