Unique-AR Rifle build

What are your thoughts when it comes to building your own AR?  Well, when you realize that it is so much fun you can have Unique AR help you along that path.

So, I thought to myself on what I wanted my first AR rifle to be?  It is 2020 and what is the most controversy thing happing in the world?  Regardless of what you think or how you vote is always based on your opinions or beliefs.  Me?  I have been a Republican all my life and felt bad about how people were treating Trump.  So I decided to make a rifle that could start up conversations out on the range.  My wife says sometimes I am not tactful enough, but I am blunt for sure.  And what better way to show my support was to make a build.  I will tell you, since this was my first build, I was kind of nervous when I contacted Unique AR to help me put my build together.

One of the first thing Unique AR‘s did for me was ask me what I wanted in a handguard.  I looked at their gallery they have on their website.  I saw two different handguards in their gallery I liked and asked if they could combine pieces of them.  They told me that, that was not an issue at all.  Then we went back and forth about the color, shape and size.  Once I had it all done, Unique AR machinist sent me back a computer drawing of what it would look like and, yes I approved it.

I wanted it to look very much patriotic!!  I had them make the standard length handguard with of course the colors of red, white and blue for the American flag.  What

better way to show the colors than on an American flag.   As you can see in the middle

of the handguard you can see the flag as if it was soring in the clear blue sky, with not only larger stars, but smaller ones as well.  Now, how can you not top an American flag without the good ol’ American eagle!  Now, I did have the eagle on the front of the handguard not as bright as the rest of the handguard.  I wanted it to have this rustic look to it.  I wanted the focus in the center of the rifle.

After Unique AR‘s completed my order, they asked if I needed anything else.  I looked through their site and found the sell barrels and muzzle brakes.  They also carry everything you need to put on furniture on.  Unique AR‘s packaged it all up and sent it to me.  This is when the fun begins.

I completed putting the upper together and it looks fantastic!  Check out the front of this rifle with their muzzle break.  I made sure I had the right rails for it and just ordered it from them.  You can order from someone else, but you never know if it will work on your custom.   Can you see the fantastic work they did on the handguard?

Of course I had to spice up the rest of the rifle to keep my thyme going!  All I can say is that Unique AR has made a believer out of me.  I am differently going to continue to build my own.

With help and suggestions of friends and family he took the idea of custom firearms to a whole new level, transforming a basic rifle to a truly unique work of art. Through creative thinking Jim found that he could produce a rifle that would become a beloved family heirloom. Once the rifles started getting great feedback on social media, it was obvious that there was a business to be built. Jim had two family members come on as partners to help bring the ideas out of the garage and into a full fledged company.  They purchased some industrial CNC equipment and started working out all the details for production. When the orders started coming faster and faster a team was needed to keep everything running smoothly. It is now a complete team effort at Unique-ARs to bring continued

innovation and an ever-expanding product line to the industry.   Unique-ARs’ future is bright. Exciting innovations such as the fully customizable Unique-Grip, are added to the pipeline regularly. The immediate future sees our team of outstanding designers, machinists, painters and customer care specialists expanding the company to encompass not only customized firearms but a variety of outdoor gear as well. Because we are based in the mountains of Idaho our team lives the outdoor life and passionately brings innovation to the equipment we all use on a daily basis.
