Long Range targeting from Streamlight

What were you thinking when you are out on patrols for your reserve weekends?  Check out the Waypoint 300….

One of the must valuable thing you can do at night is have a flashlight that can light up the night sky’s.  And when you have night shoots when doing your drill weekend, nothing beats the Streamlight Waypoint 300.  Have you seen this flashlight?  If not, let me introduce you to it.

This flashlight can take a beating because of the durable plastic frame it has.  I have personally drop the Waypoint several times out in the filed and it keeps taking a licking.  It is almost like a Glock pistol – you can beat it down all day long and keeps shining.  The light has a kickstand on top so that you can turn the light upside down and point it in any direction and not have to hold on to it.  The 1,000 lumens lights up far down range that when it is time to mark your targets you will not miss that hole and get marked off.

On the back of the light, gives you the ability to change up how high you want the light to shine for you.  Trust me you will never want it on the high setting.  It is like night turned into day.  Just be careful, because the higher you go on the settings the faster the battery drains.  But not to worry, with this awesome Waypoint 300 has rechargeable batteries that it will be back up and running in no time!

Check out what Streamlight says about it:

Pros

  • Waypoint 300 is very light weight and small enough to put inside your military issued backpack.
  • Cool kickstand to set it down while you eat that MRE.
  • And with rechargeable batteries, it saves you room to put more stuff in for your long hike.
  • This flashlight keeps giving back while in the field.

Cons

  • When you run the Waypoint 300 on high it runs the battery down way fast. You just have to keep mindful of when it is on high, med or low.
